Year in Review
What a year this has been. 2007 will be a memorable year for the people of Saskatchewan.
Crops were good and prices high. It’s been a long time since we’ve had both in the same year. Life seems to be turning around in rural Saskatchewan. Throughout the communities I visited the greatest difference I notice is the attitude of the people. Indian Head Milestone is strong and getting stronger. Communities are growing, housing is booming, the oil industry is expanding, it’s a great way to start 2008.
The fall of 2007 was certainly a busy one for my team and I as we headed into an election in November, an election which saw the people of Indian Head – Milestone once again trust me to represent you in the Legislature, this time as part of Saskatchewan Party government.
Since I was given the responsibility of Health Minister, life has been both challenging and exciting. I will do my very best for the people of Indian Head – Milestone and all of Saskatchewan.
My annual constituency tour will take place at the end of February. Please watch for notices in the newspapers and on the website as I am looking forward to seeing everyone who would like to come out for a coffee and a visit.
A new year brings with it endless possibilities and boundless new beginnings. My family and I wish all of you all the best in the New Year and I look forward to working with you and for you.
